About the event

Eligible for 3 CEUs

Join us for an engaging and comprehensive training session on Community Health Worker (CHW) Ethics. This training is designed to enhance your understanding of ethical principles, provide practical resources, and prepare you for real-world ethical scenarios.

The session will begin with a pre-quiz to gauge initial understanding, followed by warm-up activities and introductions to set the stage for a productive day. We'll cover the basics of ethics, delve deeper with engaging video content, and take a closer look at the four key components of CHW ethics. After a short break, we'll discuss essential resources at local, state, and national levels, and explore the potential consequences of ethical violations.

Practical exercises will help solidify your understanding, including a segment on mandated reporting and a group practice session designed to simulate real-life situations. We'll also celebrate your achievements with a "bragging rights" segment, and provide ample time for Q&A to address any concerns or clarifications. The session will conclude with a post-training quiz to measure your knowledge gained, followed by completion of feedback forms and discussion on CEUs and certification of completion.

This training promises to be informative and interactive, ensuring you walk away with a solid understanding of CHW ethics and practical tools to apply in your daily work. We look forward to your participation!
